In 2014 I obtained my Bachelor`s degree in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University, where I did my final research project under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Walther on biocatalytic feedback-driven temporal programmed self-assembly of peptide hydrogels. I continued in the Master program at RWTH, from which I graduated with honors in March 2017, focusing on Catalysis and Polymers & Materials. In spring 2016, I joined the group of Prof. Timothy Swager at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a visiting student for one year. There I worked on responsive palladium pincer type surfactants for the detection of small molecules in dynamic liquid colloids. In July 2017 I started in the group of Prof. Bert Meijer as a PhD student. I am currently working on photo-responsive supramolecular systems to investigate the fundamental molecular dynamics that control the organization of multi-component systems.
