In 2017 I obtained my Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), after performing a final bachelor’s project in the group of prof. dr. Bert Meijer. During this project I have worked on the synthesis and characterization of single chain polymeric nanoparticles (SCPN’s) with dendritic pendants. In August 2019 I joined the group of prof. dr. ir. Anja Palmans to work on my graduation project. Over the course of 9 months, I was busy with the synthesis and self-assembly properties of water-compatible benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamides comprising one inverted amide bond. After obtaining my Msc. Degree cum laude in September 2020, I started as a PhD-candidate in this group to investigate the potential photo- and optoelectronic applications of discrete siloxane based copolymers.
