I studied chemistry at the Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy), where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in 2012 and my Master’s degree in 2014 after a five-months internship at the Spanish National Research Council in Madrid (Spain). Then I moved to the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where I completed my PhD in Organic Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Tomás Torres focusing on the synthesis and study of subphthalocyanine-based systems for solar energy conversion applications. During this period, I realized a three-months stay in the laboratory of Prof. Atsuhiro Osuka at Kyoto University (Japan), where I synthesized novel peripherally metalated porphyrinoids. Since August 2021, I am a Marie Curie postdoctoral researcher in the Meijer group, where I am currently investigating the role of competitive solvent interactions in supramolecular polymerization.
