I started my studies in chemistry at the Fontys University for Applied Sciences Eindhoven. After a research internship at the Ångström Laboratory in the group of Tim Bowden (University of Uppsala, Sweden), where I focused on solid polymer electrolytes for Li-ion batteries and an internship at Next Dent in Soesterberg, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in 2016. I continued my journey with a pre-master and master’s studies in Molecular Sciences & Materials Chemistry and obtained my master’s degree in 2019 after a graduation project in the group of Prof. Dr. E. W. Meijer and Dr. G. Vantomme, focusing on phase-separating block molecules for 2D applications. I pursued my doctoral studies in the same group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) by exploring the interplay between supramolecular polymers and macromolecules and defended my thesis in 2023. Since January 2024, I am a post-doc (project leader) within the Dutch Big Chemistry Consortium, which aims to develop fully autonomous and AI-guided chemistry labs with special emphasis on complex molecular systems and formulations.
