Pramita received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Materials Science at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata. In the spring of 2023, she joined the group of Sir Fraser Stoddart (2016 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry) at Northwestern University as a visiting pre-doctoral fellow and later continued her research with the Stoddart group at the University of Hong Kong. She subsequently joined the group of Prof. Ghislaine Vantomme and Prof. Bert Meijer, as a PhD candidate in June 2025. Her research focuses on the development of self-healing supramolecular organic glasses, nanomechanical studies of organic single crystals and polymeric films, and the design of adaptive and dynamic organic smart materials.
