I studied chemistry at the University of Vigo in Spain, where I obtained my licentiate degree in May 2013. After doing an internship in the physical chemistry department at the same university, I moved to Berlin in October 2013 for doctoral studies in the group of Prof. Peter H. Seeberger at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces and the Free University Berlin. During this period, I worked on the synthesis of carbohydrate-based nanomaterials for imaging and drug delivery. In July 2018, I joined the group of Prof. Bert Meijer as a postdoctoral researcher to work on the development of water-soluble supramolecular polymers as artificial extracellular matrix materials for stem cell to organoid growth.
