In 2024, I obtained my Bachelors’s degree cum laude at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), after finishing my final project under the supervision of Prof. Bert Meijer and Assistant Prof. Ghislaine Vantomme. In this project I studied vibrational strong coupling (VSC) as a means to modulate the supramolecular polymerization of chiral copper porphyrins. During my master thesis I will try to use halogen bonding in truxenone-based and other systems to induce amplification of asymmetry and to induce hierarchical changes in the supramolecular structures.
