• Supramolecular Systems in Water

I obtained both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry in Università di Roma “La Sapienza”, in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Then, I enrolled a PhD course in chemical cciences under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Di Stefano at the same university, using activated carboxylic acids to trigger the dissipative operation of pH-responsive supramolecular systems. During this time, I spent a period of six months in the group of Prof. Andreas Walther at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz, working on the development of chemically fueled soft robots. I earned my PhD in April 2023, and from May I’m a postdoc in the group of Prof. Bert Meijer, carrying out research on supramolecular polymers in water.
