I obtained my Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2022. During my undergraduate studies, I completed a traineeship at the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy under the supervision of Dr. Daniele Martella, where I worked on optimizing liquid crystal networks for cell cultures. For my bachelor thesis, I worked on stimulus-responsive nanogels under the supervision of Prof. Jan van Hest.
In May 2025, I graduated cum laude with a Master’s degree after completing my thesis in the group of Prof. Bert Meijer titled “Supramolecular Polymerization of Peptide Amphiphiles: Engineering Their Dynamics and Bioactivity.” During this work, we collaborated with the group of Prof. Samuel Stupp to investigate the effects of PA-based biomaterials on cell behaviour. I am now continuing as a PhD candidate within the big chemistry consortium in the group of Prof. Patricia Dankers and in the group of Prof. Bert Meijer, focusing on the effects of chirality on cell behaviour using high-throughput experimentation.
