In 2019, I obtained my BSc. Science at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, after finishing a final project in the group of prof. dr. Jana Roithova. During this project, I performed a screening of high-valent iron oxo intermediates towards C-H bond activation reactions. I continued with a master in Molecular Chemistry in Nijmegen and joined the group of prof. dr. Roeland Nolte, where I worked on the light controlled threading of a porphyrin cage molecule. In April 2021, I joined the API development services department at Lonza in Visp, Switzerland for a final internship. After obtaining my Msc. Chemistry cum laude in 2021, I joined the group of prof. dr. Bert Meijer as a PhD candidate in January 2022. During my PhD, I plan to combine covalent and noncovalent chemistry in order to functionalize supramolecular polymers.
